Katie Price and Alex Reid jet in to Dublin for Michelle Heaton's wedding...but can't raise a smile

By Daily Mail Reporter

Glum: Katie Price and Alex Reid looked gloomy as they touched down in Dublin to celebrate Michelle Heaton's marriage to Hugh Hanley

As newlyweds Katie Price and Alex Reid should still be in the honeymoon stage themselves.

So you'd think jetting off to a good friend's wedding would be enough to inspire a loved up glow.

But the couple looked glum as they arrived at Dublin airport yesterday ahead of Michelle Heaton's wedding party.

Perhaps they were regretting their apparent decision to stay in a £32-a-night hotel.

The couple checked into the Premier Inn at Dublin airport upon landing, The Sun is claiming.

Or perhaps the recent spate of rumours about their marriage being on the rocks is taking its toll, although Price, 32, and Reid, 35, have repeatedly denied that their marriage is in trouble.

Two people who were glowing were Price's best friends, make up artist Gary Cockerill and TV presenter Phil Turner.

The pair looked so tanned they made Price and Reid look pale in comparison.

Price and Reid also had a camera crew in tow, which would indicate that they're covering the event as part of a reality show.

Tan-fastic: Gary Cockerill's orange tan made Alex Reid look almost pale in comparison

The former Liberty X singer married long-term Irish boyfriend Hugh Hanley in the Caribbean in July, and is throwing the party tonight for guests who couldn't make the trip to the wedding.

Yesterday, Price accidentally revealed that the secret party was happening via Twitter.

She tweeted, 'off riding now and cant wait its my best friends wedding tom.. michell and hugh we cant wait to see you woooooo hoooo quack quack!!! lol'

Heaton quickly fired back:'@MissKatiePrice you are friggin so funny... thanx for telling everyone! quack quack! xxxx whoop whoop x (sic)'

Strained: Price and Reid finally smile, but it seems a little forced
